VCM Stock Trigger List
VCM is triggered if a particular stock / futures contract, that is covered under VCM model, is far away from the last traded price 5-min ago. A 5-min cooling-off period will start to allow trading within the band only. Normal trading will resume afterwards.
VCM is applied to continuous trading sessions (CTS) excluding the first 15 min of the Morning and Afternoon sessions and the last 20 min of the Afternoon Session.
Instruments that are covered under the VCM and their triggering criteria:
- Stock (Hang Seng Composite Index Constituent): ±10% (LargeCap) / ±15% (MidCap) / ±20% (SmallCap)
- Futures Contract (spot and next calendar month index futures contracts with HSI or HSCEI as their underlying index) : ±5%
