There were 861 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.31 billion and HK$3.37 billion, or 16.58% and 7.63% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 46.35% and 22.28% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$2.16 billion and HK$1.75 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.89% and 3.96% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 51.95% and 37.64% of respective stock's turnover.
