There were 804 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.61 billion and HK$973.28 million, or 12.19% and 4.55% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 40.09% and 15.39% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$915.62 million and HK$907.14 million of short sales, accounting for 4.28% and 4.24% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 16.07% and 23.62% of respective stock's turnover.
XL2CSOPHYNIX closed down HK$13.56, or 24.88%, to HK$40.94. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.06, or 0.23%, to HK$25.64. BABA-W rose HK$0.7, or 0.63% to HK$111.7. XIAOMI-W jumped HK$0.12, or 0.42%, to HK$28.8.
