Coupled with the rise of the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield by 7 basis points to 5.23%, reaching a nearly twenty-year high, overnight pressure weighed on all three major U.S. indices. However, Hong Kong stocks remained stable. The Hang Seng Index opened at 24,648, up 6 points or less than 1%, with main board turnover of HK$2.484 billion. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index stood at 8,227, up 10 points or 0.1%. The Hang Seng Tech Index was at 4,286, down 9 points or 0.2%.
